Dr. Jaime Middleton
Dr. Jaime Middleton is a native Houstonian passionate about her patients and her service to women’s health. She is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with over a decade of experience. As a wife and mother of two, Dr. Middleton understands the physical and emotional challenges of women today and strives to help them maintain health and wellness. She uses empowerment through education so that the women she treats are partners in their health care decisions — not just patients. She is committed to developing lifelong relationships with her patients and providing each woman compassionate wellness care tailored to her particular situation.
Dr. Middleton attended Rice University, where she majored in Sociology. At Rice, and through participation in several summer internships in the Texas Medical Center, she developed her passion for health care. She went on to study at the University of Maryland School Of Medicine, graduating in 2004. In addition to gaining her medical degree at the University of Maryland, Dr. Middleton also met her husband while in medical school. She is happily married to Dr. Theodore Lawler, Jr, a practicing Family Medicine physician with Village Medical Group.
Upon completing medical school, Dr. Middleton returned home to Texas for residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she finished in 2008. She began her career in Alexandria, Louisiana, while her husband served our country as a member of the United States Army. After completion of his commitment, she and her family returned to Houston to be close to family and friends.
Dr. Middleton is renowned for her dedication and commitment to her patients, making her one of Houston’s most sought-after women’s physicians and practices in Pearland, TX. Her mission is to change the narrative of how women talk and learn about their intimate health and overall well-being. She values patient education and shared decision-making.
Dr. Middleton provides comprehensive Obstetric and Gynecological care and surgical management for many conditions. Her special interests include adolescent care, contraception management, treatment for fibroids, high-risk pregnancy care, and minimally invasive approaches to gynecologic surgery, including incontinence procedures. In addition, she is one of the first providers to offer the Viveve treatment, a unique procedure providing an alternative approach to the management of urinary incontinence, vaginal laxity, and sexual dysfunction.
Guiding a woman through all the phases of her life and healthcare-related needs is the ultimate goal for Dr. Middleton and her staff. She takes great pride in her field and is dedicated to ensuring every patient is treated as she would want her family to be treated.
Dr. Middleton has fully credentialed privileges at Women’s Hospital. In addition to her everyday medical practice, she is a speaker on women’s health issues and an active teacher, educator, and mentor to residents and medical students pursuing the obstetrics and gynecology specialty.
In her spare time, when she is not in the office caring for her patients, you will find Dr. Middleton and her husband taking in new and refreshing perspectives through the excitement of adventure and travel. She is also a self-proclaimed foodie and is constantly searching for the many exquisite flavors the world has to offer. She cherishes time spent with her family and being a mom to Deborah and Devin, her two beautiful daughters.
